I love 1 Peter! It has so much packed into one little book. What an amazing God we have! Lover, Friend, Father, Savior, Protector, and oh so many more!  The Almighty God, Creator of everything, wants to be friends with us. He wants a PERSONAL relationship with us! How awesome is that?! When I'm feeling rejected by the world, when I feel lost, lonely, sad, I can look to Him for comfort. I yearn to grow more in my friendship with Him so that I look to Him, not only when I'm sad, but when I'm happy. He is the closest friend we can have. I love Psalm 139 that says: "O  Lord , you have  searched me and known me!   You  know when I sit down and when I rise up;      you  discern my thoughts from afar.   You search out my path and my lying down      and are acquainted with all my ways.
